Less than 500 metres away from this flat is the isle " Ile de la Cité" where Paris has been founded a long time ago. All the attractions known in the whole world can be reached within a few minutes on foot. 2 minutes on foot to Centre Culturel Georg Pompidou, the Seine, the Marais, Forum des Halles, the Samaritaine, the church St. Eustache, 5 minutes on foot to Louvre, Quartier Latin, St.Germain des Prés, Notre-Dame de Paris, La Sainte Chapelle, Place des Vosges etc etc 15 minutes on foot to Champs Elysées, Place de la Concorde, Eiffel- Tower, Opera Garnier, Madeleine
This flat is situated in the 1. Arrondissement of Paris. The central and most important underground station "Chatelet-Les Halles" is just opposite your door. You'll have about 9 underground routes there and in the streets nearby you can choose between 32 bus routes taking you everywhere. But you'll not need Metro or Busses. Already in the morning, taking your breakfast in this charming and lovely flat, you will have a wonderfully interesting view on the street life in the pedestrian zone beneath the building. In any case, you won't look into a sad back yard and you will feel that you are living in the center of Paris, the capital of France.
The flat is situated in one of the rare pedestrian zones in Paris and downstairs you can choose between many restaurants, cafés, theatres and music-pubs. By the way: In this house where you'll lodge Beaumarchais and the author Eugene Scribe were born, some feet away Jean Baptiste Moliere.
The building, in which the flat is on the third floor, has a lift and has been totally done up in 1997. There are only seven flats in this little and neat building. Only French people, working in the nearby theatres and in the ministry of justice, live in this house. The 2- room-apartment has a living-room, a bedroom, a kitchen and a bath. The living-room with its 3 windows is very bright. From all its windows the pedestrian zone can be seen. The entrance has a wardrobe, there's also an interphone. The rooms have new parquet. The apartment measures 43 sq-metres. The four windows are highly isolated against warmth and noice. Before all windows are shutters. To complete the comfort the apartment has air condition !
